The Power and Glory in the Voice of God!

Whatever is going on in and around your life:

"Ascribe to the LORD, O mighty ones,     ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name;     worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.  The voice of the LORD is over the waters,     the God of glory thunders,     the LORD thunders over the mighty waters. The voice of the LORD is powerful;     the voice of the LORD is majestic. The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars;     the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon."  Psalm 29:1-5 

Once more, whatever your are going through in your life this is your God. His voice, his word, his promise is to provide for you. The truth is that he is above all things. Not passively, but actively. His ways are not our ways. Sometimes, we forget that his purpose is to make us into the image of Jesus Christ his Son. God's desire is that we reflect him as we call out to him. 

Remember today his glory and his strength. His very word can level the forests of our lives. 

Father, we call upon you. Be glorified in our lives. We lift up the trials and problems in our lives to you. Show us your glory, power and majesty! Praise be to you in us today!
