Get in the fight! Take a stand!

Spiritually speaking, there are no Switzerland's. During any war Switzerland claims neutrality. All around us a war is being waged, whether we want to acknowledge it or not. The battles are fought daily. It's time to get in the fight. It is time to take a stand. 

"Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." Ephesians 6:11-12 

Get in the  fight. Take a stand. The reality is that there is a spiritual battle being waged for our souls, for our marriages, families, spouses, and children. The battle is for our minds and the choices that we make. The world is constantly on the attack. That is why we need to daily put on the full armor of God. Think about this :  The armor that Paul was describing was the armor of the Roman soldier, a soldier that was sent out to attack, not just stand and wait to be attacked. Yes, part of the armor was designed to be able to stand their ground, yet, they were an aggressive force built for conquest. Every day we must go out into the world and make our stand in Christ. 

Your enemy is the forces and influences of the world that you live in. The ideals that tell men that they are dogs and have no control over their sexual desires. The ideals that tell us we are only animals when the truth is we are created in the image of God. The ideals that tell us there is no God when we know the truth that there is one God the Creator of us all. The ideals that tell us that there is no such thing as sin when Christ came to die for the sins of this whole world. 

Here's the to do: Get in the fight! Put on the full armor of God! Know the battle is spiritual and for your mind and the minds of those you love. Know the Truth. 

Father, thank you for the armor of you provide by faith in Christ. Clothe us and help us to take our stand in you today! Praise be to you in us today!
