God Chose You!

One day, while I was serving as a greeter at church a beautiful women walked by. I smiled at her as she entered the sanctuary. I "coincidentally" bumped into her  a few times, we went out for lunch, and the rest as they say is history. What is funny is to find out how we each sort of conspired to be in places where the other one would be so that me might just bump into each other. Before the creation of the world God saw Christ in you and chose you!
"For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight." Ephesians 1:4
God chose you because of his infinite mercy and grace. He chose you with a purpose. He has a purpose for each of us. Whatever that purpose looks like it is grounded in the call to be holy and blameless in his sight. God does not call you to perfection, but to holiness. We all sin but how we deal with the sin will make us an object of blame or in the end make us blameless. The truth of the day is that God chose you. He chose you, knowing your life from beginning to end. God chose you, knowing what no one else knows, he still chose you! He chose you to make you holy and blameless in Christ.

Father, how can I repay you for your unfailing love for me? Like David, I will lift up the cup of salvation and call upon the name of the LORD (Psalm 116:12-13). Praise be to you in us today.
