We live and breathe because God says we can. Every moment is an opportunity to live in the Truth. I live, you live because God is not done with us yet. I remember sitting at the bed of my aunt as she was dying of a terminal illness. Believe it or not, I really believe that God took her so that she would not deny His Name. Sometimes His mercy can seem severe to us.
"I lie down and sleep:
I wake again, because the LORD sustains me." Psalm 3:5
On this Sunday, this Sabbath day, remember that God sustains you.
Father, sustain us with the power that rose Jesus from the dead. Praise be to You in us today!
