What time is it? What day is it? The time is now and the day is today!
"As God's fellow workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain. For he says,
"In the time of my favor I heard you,
and in the day of salvation I helped you."
I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation." II Corinthians 6:1-2
Jesus called His disciples friends (John 15:14-15) if they did what He commanded. The same goes for us. Paul describes us as "fellow workers". He urges not to receive this grace from God in vain. Remember Paul has been talking about being ambassadors for God, delivering the message of reconciliation. Being used by God is the deepest of blessings. When does God want to use us and bless us? Now! Today! Now is the time when God wants to show us His favor and today is the day he wants us to enjoy salvation.
Lord, show us your favor now! Show us your salvation today! We wait upon You to show us Your favor and salvation. Praise be to You!!! Thank you for Your favor and salvation!!!
