Transformed to Reflect

You are reflecting. Whether you know it or not, you are reflecting. One of the truly wonderful things about our relationship with God in Christ, is that we are made free to be transformed into His image.

Paul says, "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." (II Corinthians 3:17-18)

The work of the Spirit (in part) is to bring us into freedom in Christ. Freedom from the dominion of sin. Freedom from the control, guilt, and condemnation of sin. Freedom to be who God created us to be. That freedom, working in and through our lives reflects the glory of God. When you can say that you have been forgiven and then in turn forgive as Christ has forgiven you, you are reflecting the Lord's glory.

Heavenly Father, free us in Christ to reflect Your glory. Transform us into the likeness of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Use us today to reflect Your glory to this dark world.
